Creating Rabbitholes Hologram from 3D animation software or real life footage

Content Types – Sources of 3D Animation

RabbitHoles can be printed from a wide-variety of digital image sequences and file types. RabbitHoles content can be rendered from 3D computer-generated imagery (CGI), as well as 2D and 3D digital video; imagery can also be made from composited layers of both 2D and 3D data. The film surface can house up to 1280 images, with effective 3D and animation available from as few as 100 frames. RabbitHoles TechSpecs are provided for rendering proper data out of 3D design programs, including Maya, 3DSMax, Lightwave, and others.

Effective use of computer 3D animation for holograms

RabbitHoles ProjectProducers and TechTeam provide creative consultation to content creators with regard to content, coloring, contrast, depth of field, and animation to maximize the effectiveness of each RabbitHole. RabbitHoles Media also has relationships with top 3D artists, visual effects houses, and 3D content creators that are available to design a project if desired.

“RabbitHoles Moments” :: Live-Action 3D Portraits

RabbitHoles Media developed a 3D live-action data capture technique and produced the first ever live-action 3D portrait for Paramount Pictures! (see How She Move in Entertainment Gallery) Please contact us at info@rabbitholes.com for more information about producing “RabbitHoles Moments.”

Sizing of the holograms – How Big? How Small?

RabbitHoles can be wallet-size or wall-size! Print-size depends mostly on the specific application and the size of the install environment…the bigger your print the bigger the space. RabbitHoles film is 1m high, so anything taller than that requires vertical tiling of multiple panels; tiling is accomplished with barely visible seams…the largest digital motion holograms in the world have been produced using this technique, with the biggest to date measuring 2m x 3m. The width of RabbitHoles is dependent almost entirely on the install environment. For further information about about producing “RabbitHoles Moments” please contact us at info@rabbitholes.com
