New digital full color holographic technology

Our technology can print from any digital source. While the best results can often be obtained with full-scene modeling, an impressive hologram can be made from several pictures that represent different points of view of the image or logo. Our holograms can have animation or movement embedded into the imagery and we can even reproduce an existing promotional video clip in our technology. People can see different content from different angles of view, opening wide possibilities for customizing the print for specific locations, alternating languages in the message content and much more. Simple process to create in 3D

If your company has 3D assets or uses 3D software such as Maya or 3DMax – creating imagery and/or messaging to be incorporated into a RabbitHoles display will be an easy task. Often it is as simple as setting up the camera in the virtual 3D scene and rendering a sequence of images. Those images represent different perspectives or points of view when interacting with the hologram from different angles. On the other hand, if you do not have any of the artwork in 3D, then you can rely on us to create the most effective hologram either by combining your supplied pictures, messages and concepts or engaging us to create a full 3D scene based on your design concepts. Our 3D artists have specific knowledge of what works best in our technology so you will receive imagery and messaging with good clarity and contrast that will be highly memorable by your target audience.

Project cost for holographic displays

Traditionally, hologram creation was so horrendously expensive that using holograms for promotional displays was beyond the budgets of even the best financed projects. The actual creation of an analog holographic display involved rental of a holographic studio for days, if not weeks, in order to produce an actual 3D scene that could be captured on film. Our RabbitHoles technology has leapfrogged the traditional methodologies and propelled holography into the digital world! Text, images, and 3d objects can all be created and manipulated in the computer, simplifying the process. Our pricing is based on a number of factors. A single project may contain some or all of the services that we provide, including Project Consultation, Image Design and/or Creation, Printer Set-up, Holographic Printing, Custom Framing, Lighting, Shipping and Handling, and Installation. We custom design our estimates based on our customer’s requirements. Frequently, the end result is a collaborative endeavor but often our clients simply have us print the imagery they have already prepared.

Advertising case study
In June 2005 during the Montreal Grand Prix we ran a point of purchase (POP) campaign together with Puma Canada at a Foot Locker store in which we displayed a Puma running shoe that morphed into a Ferrari and back again as viewers moved back and forth in front of our holographic display.

Over a period of three days upon leaving the store approximately 200 people were interviewed and asked to fill out a questionnaire. The results were processed and statistically analyzed using the STAT-XP package. This marketing study determined that while the average time that a given individual spent in the store was less than 15 minutes, the displays were capable of generating a spontaneous awareness of 37% of one or more of the elements of the concept advertised. In addition the displays generated a total awareness (including spontaneous and cued) of 41%. To put this in context, comparable figures for standard 2D displays are usually in the range of 8-10%.
This study, conducted by an independent marketing research, clearly demonstrated that our holographic displays have the ability to capture the attention of shoppers for sustained periods during which they are able to absorb and retain the advertising message with a recall factor of almost 400% better than 2D advertising!!
