RealD uses 3D Animated Holograms for Promotional Display during CES 2010 Trade Show

Holographic 3D Glasses - RealD Trade show standGlobal leader in 3D projection technology for cinema and home, RealD, commissioned RabbitHoles Media to create a branded promotional display for use during CES 2010. The portable display features a giant replica of their trademark 3D glasses atop a glowing blue & white prism; the lenses of the giant 3D glasses are RabbitHoles 3D animated holograms that reveal an interactive holographic scene from RealD’s branding trailer, complete with 3D robot dog at play with RealD’s animating logo in a serene 3D environment. The display will be revealed at the 3D Film Festival (3DFF) special event at Planet Hollywood opening night of the CES 2010 Trade Show in Las Vegas, NV.

RabbitHoles Launches Limited Edition 3D Holograms of President Obama

Hologram of President Obama RabbitHoles Media has created 3-D Digital Holograms of President Barack Obama as a tribute to his ascent to the leadership of the United States of America. The imagery can be purchased with one of three separate backgrounds, i.e. an evening sky, an American flag, or an American flag book-ended by blue sky on each side. Each 3D hologram is beautifully framed and comes in one of two sizes. The smaller prints retail for as little as US $299, including frame and light. Heavy Metal Publishing Polishes New Release with 3D Holograms @ Comic-Con International

Lucy Last Man Standing Dan LuvisiUp-and-coming sci-fi / fantasy artist Dan Luvisi revealed characters from his highly anticipated series L.M.S. [Last.Man.Standing], the latest intellectual property developed by Kevin Eastman and Heavy Metal Publishing.

RabbitHoles Media teamed up with Heavy Metal to unveil limited edition collectibles of Luvisi’s “LUCY” character as RabbitHole® 3D Motion Holograms to promote and merchandise the L.M.S. brand.  The full color holograms depict Lucy as a calm & confident heroine, suspended in a rich 3D environment, falling through a shattered window, while blasting her two submachine guns.

The RabbitHole® 3D prints come in two sizes. Limited Edition #1 consists of 50 14” x 20” prints at $950 each. Limited Edition #2 consists of 100 7’ x 10” prints at $550 each. SIGGRAPH Commissions RabbitHole® 3D Hologram by Meats Meier for Computer Animation Festival

Meats Meier Animation Mother 2009 The SIGGRAPH 2009 Planning Committee commissioned a Meats Meier RabbitHole® to be the award for winners of the Computer Animation Festival for the second year in a row. The full color hologram depicts “Animation Mother”, the icon character of the festival, animating in 3D space.

Meats Meier also created a new “Animation Mother” image (left) in honor of the SIGGRAPH 2009 conference taking place in New Orleans, LA. Both images are available as limited editions from Rabbitholes.

RealD commissions Coraline Holograms as Innovation in 3D Awards at ShoWest

RealD - Coraline Hologram 3D - Front View RealD selected RabbitHoles to design the “Innovation in 3D” awards given to the production and distribution teams at LAIKA and Focus Features, as well as Director Henry Selick, as part of their sponsored luncheon at ShoWest 2009 in Las Vegas, NV.

The RabbitHole 3D Motion Holograms featured a 3D Coraline scene rendered from models of the characters in the acclaimed 3D stop-animation film released in Fall 2008.

Gnomon Gallery3D Artists Go Down the RabbitHole

On August 13th, ten renowned entertainment industry artists will unveil limited edition RabbitHoles at the Grand Opening of Gnomon Gallery in Hollywood. (www.gnomongallery.com) Gnomon Inc. is famous for its school, workshops and DVD series which train esteemed computer-graphics artists for the entertainment industry in particular. The gallery show runs through September 10th. Gallery hours are M-F, 10am-6pm, appointments by request.

Artists Alex Alvarez, Fred Bastide, Pascal Blanche, Kris Costa, Jeremy Engleman, Meats Meier, Laurent Pierlot, Aaron Sims, Scott Spencer, and Taron have work with all major movie studios as well as Pixar, Dreamworks, LucasFilm, Stan Winston Studios, and Gentle Giant, on projects including Avatar, The Incredible Hulk, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Iron Man, Pan’s Labyrinth, and Monster vs. Aliens. RabbitHoles go on a Roller Coaster Ride at Six Flags

Six Flags Theme Parks commissioned six 5ft x 10ft “billboards” to be part of the new “Batman: The Dark Knight Coaster” at three different park locations.  The billboards depict the infamous “Joker’s Henchmen” wreaking havoc in Gotham, desecrating billboards, and brandishing various weapons at the passengers screaming by; the roller coaster motion triggers the animated content within the RabbitHoles.  These RabbitHoles prints are among the largest digital motion holograms ever produced; the  The rabbitholes for these rides are among the largest yet produced! Now you can see the first-ever RabbitHole Live-3D Video Movie Posters in major US movie theaters near you! The RabbitHole movie posters and display Portals were created in partnership with Paramount Studios and Drissi Advertising — premier in-theater display designers in Los Angeles — to promote the upcoming film “How She Move”, which releases nation-wide on January 25th. The Portals contain and conceal the necessary light and mirror for illuminating the RabbitHoles and mount the prints in a suspended frame to highlight the ultra-thin nature of the technology and enhance viewers’ sense of wonder about the technology. Bill Reid Foundation Transforms Cultural Artifacts into Digital Works of Art with RabbitHoles

The versatility of RabbitHoles 3D Motion Holograms was recently showcased when digital holographic representations of famous pieces by Canadian artist Bill Reid, the iconic Master of Haida Art, were featured in the opening exhibition of the new Bill Reid Museum of Northwest Coast Art in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. The RabbitHoles 3D Motion Hologram is an invaluable tool that enables museums to reach a broader audience through a new medium of expression for their artifacts. Art Basel and Miami Get a Glimpse of RabbitHoles

After less than a year breaking into the art world, this whole new medium, RabbitHole 3D Motion Art, makes appearances at Art Basel in Miami with two exciting artists, Ron English and Meats Meier.

Meats Meier has raised the bar again on what it means to be a 3D artist with his newest and largest RabbitHole, “Loose Cannons” (limited edition of 3), which will be unveiled at the Harold Golen Gallery as part of the Subjective Reality show opening Thursday, December 7th. Ron English dove into a SCION Art Car project this year and took everyone down the RabbitHole with him by replacing his full-size tC coupe driver and passenger windows with custom RabbitHole 3D Motion Art prints featuring his iconic “Rabbbit” character in two different underground environments. The SCION Art Car tour made a pit-stop at the SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas already where the car was selected as a “Top Extreme Car,” and will be on display in front of the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach on Thursday, December 7th from 7am-3am. The SCION Art Car project also yielded new limited edition RabbitHoles “SCION Underground #1″ and “SCION Underground #2″ (20 of each), smaller scale recreations of the window art.

Comic-Con Tries on Ron English’s Cathy Cowgirl in 3D

RabbitHoles Media and Acumen Entertainment Group partnered in the unveiling of the first ever RabbitHole 3D Motion Art print created by a fine artist in San Diego, CA. Ron English pushed the boundaries of this new medium both technically and politically by portraying his iconic and somewhat suggestive Cathy Cowgirl in full animated 3D, four-nippled udders and all, provoking the throngs of people by coyly drawing her pistol and giving them a blast! “Cathy Cowgirl in 3D” is available as a limited edition of five 28″ x 39″ prints and ten 14″ x 20″ prints through RabbitHoles Media and our partner galleries in LA (Robert Berman Gallery) and Miami (Harold Golen Gallery).
